Two appearences during Frost Festival 2017

We are taking part in two events during this year’s Frost Festival in Copenhagen.
On the 4th of February the light and sound intallation ‘The Wave -A journey to the end of the pier’ created by the reowned light collective Obscura Virtigo and prizewinning Danish sound designer Peter Albrechtsen, with music by Solbrud, Rune Rask and We like We, opens at Ofelia Plads.

Later the same evening below Ofelia Plads, in a newly build parking lot, we’ll play two short concerts in a ritual circle concert with artists such as Liima, The Entrepreneurs, Pede B & DJ Noize, & Katinka.

New remix ALBUM RELEASE honoring Else Marie Pade

On December 2, the grandmother of Danish electronic music Else Marie Pade would have turned 92. With the release of ‘EMP RMX 333 – A Tribute to Else Marie Pade’released on Dacapo Records, We like We and 1o other artists pay tribute to Else Marie Pade who passed away in January.

Take a deep breath and surrender yourself to silence.

‘Tišina’ means ‘Silence’ in Slovenian. If we’re pronouncing it right it’s a beautiful word, but it’s so much more than that. It does not only contain the ‘sssch’ sound (which you use when you want to silence someone), but it also has an inexplicable, serene touch to it.

On Thursday September 24, 2015 we are traveling to Spain to perform at Días Nórdicos in Madrid.

Días Nórdicos is a large Spanish-speaking Nordic festival. The arranger of the festival is the Spanish magazine Zona de Obras, who each year dedicates a month to Nordic culture in collaboration with Rosa, Nomex and MXD. This year Snyk also is involved and has invited We like We to perform at the festival. Check out the full programme here.

This Summer We like We went to the studio and composed 20 minutes of music for the Danish Radio’s new apocalyptic radio drama in four episodes: STORMFLOD by writer and director Thomas Bjerregaard Nielsen. Today it’s been released. Enjoy and listen to the podcasts here!
